Installing an AFS client on windows

openAFS requires Kerberos for Authentication.
Following packages are required:
heimdal (the kerberos utilities) from Secure Endpoints.
NetIDManager (Kerberos GUI) from Secure Endpoints.
openAFSClient from openafs.org
For using AFS in the cell ipp-garching.mpg.de download the file krb5.conf.
Download the correct version for your windows, but do not install them yet.
We are going to install Kerberos first, test it and then install the openAFS client.
Start the installation process of the heimdal-package.
move the file krb5.conf to C:\ProgramData\Kerberos\
Install NetIdmanager
Install openafs-client
kinit.exe
klist.exe
kdestroy.exe
Install kerberos-GUI :
set default identity
get ticket
destroy it
Install openafs-client
